Trip one of our explore Australia ventures.
We are back living in Sydney and realised just before we left last time that we had been living in Australia for 2 years and the furthest we had been out of Sydney was 2 hours away to the blue mountains!
First on our list of places to see was the Gold Coast and we weren’t disappointed.
Laid back friendly lifestyle, warm weather and sandy beaches the perfect four day getaway.
Vivre a vie do a great smashed avocado on toast and poached eggs at mermaid beach plus they are all organic and the staff are super friendly too.
And to balance out the healthy organic, across the road to doughnut time to pick up a few nutella doughnuts for the beach. Regretted it later by feeling super sick, there must have been literally half a cup of nutella inside each doughnut.
Love the vibes of people just doing their thing like this guy painting a few landscapes by the sea.
Dinner at Gingo Loco Cantina with handmade tortilla chips.
The 4217 was a stand out that we only discovered on our last day, a hub of cool cafes and restaurants. We had breakfast at The Paradox. If only there was more stomach to try everything!
More Nachos at Hard Rock Cafe.
And back to our coastal Airbnb hideaway.
